Internship program

Strada Education Foundation Internship Program
Strada internships bring together a diverse cohort of individuals to learn, work, and grow.

The program offers a paid, hands-on learning experience for students who are enrolled in education after high school.

Interns are immersed in a vibrant and supportive circle where they are able to collaborate and network while supporting Strada’s commitment to strengthening the link between education and work. The summer internship program exposes participants to the work of a national nonprofit while they acquire transferable and relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities for future careers.

In addition to their individual work assignments, interns will:

  • Participate in weekly learning and professional development sessions in Indianapolis and Washington, D.C.
  • Receive individualized coaching from executives and mentorship from department colleagues.
  • Gain exposure to nonprofit operations.
  • Have opportunities to build a network that spans both nonprofit and for-profit sectors.
  • Explore community service opportunities with other interns and program leaders.

Requirements

Interns must have graduated from high school at least one year ago and be currently enrolled in or accepted into a postsecondary education or training program, such as a university, community college, apprenticeship, or boot camp.
