Sean Brazier

Chief of staff

Sean Brazier, Strada's chief of staff, advances the CEO's priorities, executes special projects, and helps drive the organization's complex, cross-functional work. 

Brazier’s career has spanned education, workforce, and economic development work across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Before joining Strada, Brazier served as a senior consultant at Bell Creek Consulting, where he led teams advising philanthropies and higher education institutions on strategies to expand economic mobility for historically overlooked communities. He also founded EDai, a tech-enabled consulting firm specializing in strategy and analytics for education and economic development clients.

Earlier, Brazier served as vice president of economic competitiveness at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and as a vice president and founding executive of Purpose Built Schools Atlanta, a K-12 charter management organization that within 16 months grew into a three-school operation serving more than 1,200 students.

Brazier spent five years at McKinsey & Company, where he led project teams across growth strategy, organizational transformation, and supply chain work. He also served as U.S. project manager for Generation, McKinsey’s young adult workforce development initiative, increasing graduates five-fold in one year.

Brazier holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Morehouse College, a Master of Science in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics, a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
